Key Job Responsibilities:
- Maintain service and software deployment, server infrastructure, and cloud infrastructure (Kubernetes, Oracle Cloud)
- Check logs and monitors to ensure system stability
- Update or deploy new software services and database schemas
- Maintain user access and permissions
- Optimize system load
- Set up new domains and deployments, including new environments from scratch
- Collaborate with development teams on software rollouts and troubleshooting
- Maintain GitLab CI/CD pipelines and related infrastructure
- Manage network infrastructure, including VPN (WireGuard), domain setup, and security rules in Cloudflare
- Develop and maintain HelmCharts, deployment scripts, and Grafana dashboards
- Support migration from dedicated servers to Oracle Cloud
If you are someone who has:
Must:
- Experience with Ansible for automation and configuration management.
- Ability to develop and maintain HelmCharts for Kubernetes application deployments.
- Proficiency in Terraform for infrastructure as code and cloud provisioning.
- Strong understanding of GitLab CI/CD to automate build, test, and deployment pipelines.
- Expertise in MySQL deployment, including setting up replication for high availability and performance.
- Hands-on experience with Kubernetes, preferably in Oracle Cloud, to manage containerized applications.
- Proficiency in Python and Shell scripting for automation and operational tasks.
- Knowledge of network management, including load balancers like HAProxy, Traefik, and Nginx, for traffic distribution and optimization.
- Familiarity with Cloudflare services, including DDoS mitigation and Web Application Firewall (WAF), to enhance security.
- Experience with monitoring and logging tools such as Grafana and Loki to maintain system visibility and performance.
- Excellent verbal and written communications skills in English
Nice to have:
- Knowledge of PHP, Golang, and JavaScript for potential contributions to development tasks.
- Experience in SQL development for writing and optimizing database queries.
- Familiarity with ArgoCD for Kubernetes continuous deployment.
- Hands-on experience with messaging systems like RabbitMQ for message-driven architectures.
- Understanding of Redis as an in-memory data store and caching system.
- Experience with Maxwell for real-time change data capture from MySQL.
- Proficiency in managing LXC containers for virtualization.
- Familiarity with ZFS for advanced filesystem management.
- Experience with Ubuntu as an operating system for server environments.
- Knowledge of WireGuard for setting up secure VPN connections.
